When you use Acquirable, we collect: (a) the company URL you submit; (b) generated report data, cached by domain; (c) standard server logs including IP address and request metadata; (d) payment information processed directly by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
We use the domain you submit to fetch your homepage, generate a research report, and cache it for performance. We use IP addresses for rate limiting and abuse prevention only. We do not use your data to train AI models or sell it to third parties.
Generated reports are cached by domain in our database. This means a report for your domain may be visible to anyone who enters the same domain URL. If you want your report removed, contact us and we will delete it.
Our database of funded companies and investor contacts is sourced from publicly available and licensed data sources. We do not collect personal data from users to populate this database. If you are a contact in our database and wish to be removed, contact us at nick@altitudegroup.org.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information. We receive a confirmation of payment and a session reference — not your card number or bank details.
We do not use tracking cookies, analytics pixels, or third-party advertising trackers. We may use a minimal session cookie for functional purposes only.
Cached reports are retained indefinitely unless you request deletion. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days. We do not retain payment information beyond what Stripe stores under their own policy.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at nick@altitudegroup.org.
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at this URL with a revised date.
